2006 honda Rancher AT 400 4x4 help!

Hey guys I'm looking for some help. My Honda is giving me some issues, starts and runs fine, but when I put it in forward or reverse, I have to rev the ATV really high before it will move. It will crawl at high rpms in both gears for a few seconds, then I hear a popping sound and it stops moving. Where should I start? Any info is highly appreciated! It's an automatic with electronic shift.

check oil level , would be first place I would start

Check diff oils that almost sounds like thry might be seized up
