So got new engine in and I go to put the clutch on and the bolt won't thread all the way in .I looked at it and looks like some of the threads are screwed up .Is there a fix for this or do I have to put a new crank ? I thought maybe a tap and chase the threads but I'm not sure if its SAE or metric ???

pull your clutch off, clean up the threads in your crank using a tap. Put your bolt in a vise and use a die. try to thread it in before installing the clutch. if it dosnt feel right look down the crank hole to see if a bit of bolt broke off in there. past that pm me there are many tricks, all to complicated to type out.
