Has anyone put a 162 track on a 154 skid? Can you do it without rail extensions? Bigger rear idler wheels? Is there enough track adjustment? Help please. Thanks.

I think you would need rail extensions. Or buy ice age rails or some other aftermarket product.

Not a chance you would ever make up the difference with big wheels or the adjusters. Buy a set of ice age rails and your done. No messing around with extensions that are going to be a weak point on your sled.

If you watch the classifieds there might be a used set of rails that come along( be cheaper than ice age) and do not i repeat do not do rail extentions!!

I did this to mine last spring, I used the 154" skid & 163" track, had to get longer bumper, tunnel extension, & welded a new bracket on for the rear bolts of the suspension to bolt to, drilled the front suspension 4 1/2" back of the factory pt. This dropped the attack angle & it now goes through anything, absolutely amazing the difference it made. You can also talk to the Micku boys @ TSS.
