I am building some demo turbo Vipers and want to hear your opinion on track length. This Viper will have a MPI 190HP turbo. Would you rather ride a 153" or a 162" 2.5" Camo Extreme?

Thanks for your input

My personal Viper will be a 162x3" Camo

why not a 156x3 thats what i want to try on a viper,i think a 153 would be out of controll with a 190hp turbo.i ran a 151 on my old vector turbo & the skies were never on the ground lol.

I like my Turbo Nytro with the 162 2.5" Camo X. I would stick with that myself but thats just me. I tried a 153 2.5" Nytro and found it didnt have enough but also tried My buddies 174 3" turbo Doo and it wanted to pull straight lines only. Not the greatest of comparisons. IMO the 162 2.5" is the way to go.

If it is for more general riders that are not busy climbing the 153 or 156. My nytro was a blast and easier to ride with the 153 but wheelied everywhere. Had the crap skid back then too though.
My next sled choice right now would be viper with 153 cat skid and 180 mcx. Good for all riding both AB and BC

Why not build a couple of each? It would give a guy a chance to try both if timing was good. I know if I had the chance (without renting) to ride each for a day I would take it.

Thanks for the replies. It will have a Timbersled Mt. Tamer skid so it shouldn't wheely too much.

162 seems to be a nice all around set-up, decent in deep snow yet still turnable...mine sled has a 162 2.5

What happened to the 137x2.5 idea Chris?!?! Hahaha. That thing would get upside down easy I bet.... Oh wait, we know it does! I will have to upload that vid one of these days. -Cody

PS- go 153 with the 190 and Timbersled. Be a fun sled for sure!

I liked my 162x 2.5" nytro , still did good climbing and was fairly easy to maneuver in the tight stuff the camo extreme held up well 7000 km boosted.. If i build a viper going to do 162 3" i think.. Dont care for the 174"..

162!! I would love to see a comparison of an AC suspension vs the Timbersled. 190 HP and I am wondering if the AC suspension is going to hold these beasts down. I have a feeling you'll be juicing to 240!
