I have had this problem on several Cat's that I have owned over the last few years. Usually change spark plugs and away it goes. Sometimrs this will fix it for several hundred miles and sometimes not. Had this same problem with my 2013, last season I never knew if it was going to start or not...very frustrating. That was at 1200mi. This season I pulled the injectors and ran them through an ultrasonic cleaner and now the problem seems to be gone. 5 rides so far this year and starting every time. Hope this helps.

i had this happen to the xf couple of days ago spark but no fuel so pulled fuel line off and unplugged fuel pump, put power to the pump and could hear it was stuck / stalled no fuel. so i reversed polarity and the pump fired right up, put polarity back right, pump ran and pumped fuel, replaced fuel line, plugged in pump and sled fired right up went for a ride yest. burnt full tank of fuel no issues loaded sled got home and won't start same prob. going to see if i can get it going using same procedure today, not sure whats going on and the m doesn't miss a beat so far it's flawless
