09 550 Grizzly

I just purchased a 09 550 Grizzly on Saturday. Private deal. Seems like a very nice machine. Anybody who has these what are your opionions pros and cons.

I have one. 1000km, and no issues. Yamaha buils a very good machine that's for sure. Can't believe there are not more out there. I think once a person actually tries one they find out what they have been missing.
Enjoy the manyy km of riding.

Hi, I have a 550 also a 09 bought new on Dec 28 08.
It now has on it 6571 Kms and 522.2 Hrs.
Most of the riding is mud,water and the hills west of Sundre, riding two up or
you could say 4up as we also take two small dogs with us.
The 550 has not had repairs done on it yet, front brake pads needed soon.
It just gets gas, oil and tires.

i have an 09 550 grizzly eps and love it. good on fuel and is more powerful than i thought it would be. no issues so far.

So you double on it? How does it handle two people? I know a couple that is going to buy their first quad. I don't usually recommend more powerful quads for someone's fist quad, such as a 700 or so, but they plan to do alot of doubling on it, and wasn't sure if the 550 would have enough power. Yami does make great machines.
