08 Dodge Ram 3500 exhaust brake issue

Wondering if anyone has come across this, over the last few weeks my exhaust brake has been coming on on it's own and stays on until I either tap the brake or sometimes it's so bad I have to pull right over and shut the truck off and restart the truck, and then it's fine this is with or without the exhaust brake switch on. With the exhaust break off and travelling at highway speed's it feels like the exhaust break is slightly coming on and it's holding me back. Do you think it's the actuator or the variable vanes hanging up ??? Or something else..?

Yes it is I'll have to grab the code again but I checked and it related to the turbo

My uneducated guess would be dirty vanes or actuator on the way out

DPF may be clogged if still intact or turbo getting bad.

I think I had the same code on my 05 dodge. Turned out a wire going to the turbo was broken Patched wire code went away.
