ill tell you a secret.
jacked up atvs don't handle as well as stock atv's
the Mud pro is a great machine imho.
i also like the can-am mud bike aswell
you should go look at both.
if your going to run mud you cant go wrong getting a built for application bike.
...
my bike has flipped...
yea if you had used both you would say the same thing.
Ive seen it time and time again with my own 2 eyes.
Ive seen lites plug solid and form into a big mud ball and the guys stuck ,while the bugs shed the mud cleanly and kept on going without any problems eventually pulling out the mud lite...
ill break it down into 2 easy category's for you
AT Tire choice : mudbugs and id stay 26" or under in that department for the larger tread bar it seems to bite better than the 27+ mudbugs.
swamp lites are garbage in skeg not sure why people even are recommending them and yes i owned them in...
lol i have a feeling the whole running mud tires and over heating bikes has nothing to do with actually running mud tires man.
more to do with what they were doing before they went out into the sand hills.
aka plugging their rads up with mud and then not cleaning them thoroughly.
to me...
sand is a tough one.
The big horns will be better on trails and rocks, bush and side hilling and over all control id have to say esp on a UTV they are a tough tire.
But i have to give the nod in mud between the 3 to the zillas as that's what they are more purpose built for over the others...
cant rip with a Tracked ATV nearly as good as a Sled. but it would still be fun considering i sold my sled since i never rode it for like 3 years due to weather.
so ive been considering tracks for awhile but they are so freaking expensive.
I'd get zillas way before mudlites.
on something like that id rather get bighorns than either
man i hate mudlites. everytime i hear someone say that word i cringe.
I asked this question before and most of the guys running those trails have no problem with tracked atvs.
they do however dislike regular atvs as most people root on it and ruin the groomed trails.
If people could take it slow atvs wouldn't ruin the groomed trails either btw.
I agree sort of.
All these motors are entirely reliable unless you do something to them.
sink a BF and it will either start right up or be dead for ever "in words of the sandlot 4 Ev ERRR".
I spent hours think 12 hrs out in coldlake may lakes ordeal ,helping someone with a BF it was a...
well they measure 28 1/2 " and have about a 2" lug with 2.5 inch spikes on the side wall. but fact is you wont find them in Canada.
importing them is a B**CH and cost a lot.
which is why i don't recommend them often if at all.
lol @ you calling them small they are larger than 28" laws by...
Only experience Ive had with silverbacks was on a friends ATV they were only 28s but i did not like them at all.
Don't get me wrong they had some good traction. I loved how they would pull out of a clay/slimy holes you know like the climbing out at the end where everyone and their dog gets...
Its really difficult to advise someone on which tires to buy.
It truely depends on how hard you want to go.
the old saying is go with a tire that will take you to the hardest extreme your willing to go and you will be happy.
and usually its true if you like to mud pick a very aggressive...
Not to sound ignorant but isn't it a governor thing that makes the rhinos that much slower than the grizz versions?
I'm sure weight plays alot here but most 700 griz can hit the 100 km mark on flat ground.
All things equal a 700 rhino should be able to come close and hit 100 km mark on slight...
sounds like 1 of 2 things
1. crack in the boot after the carb leaking air and leaning the bike out to much
or
2. idle is too lean.
a lean idle can cause the sporadic idling you are seeing
or anything.. trails .. dirt roads .. service roads.
and i cant think of any Drag strips that race ATVs around here..
lol you should'a thrown Dune tires on it and hit some of the local dunes and pwned everyone.
