    Solar Power

BC seems to hide their report..couldn't find it. Very expensive labor to maintain solar and wind power - that reports don't count in their pricing. Soon as the subsidies end, no provider can operate anywhere world ((Enter.Carbon Tax)) . Not a chance in Canada -Solar or wind.

Live Report--zero output from Brooks solar panels now. As per usual people only see that it is capable of 15kw but producing 0 KW. Same as wind power -capable to produce 1445 KW..- Actually producing 52 KW. We as tax payers keep subsidizing the eco projects that will never be any where near...

    BC bans non electric vehicles

Alberta most homes are only 100 amp services . # 4 wire required for 80 amps. Our hyrdro dams don’t flow much water in the winter. That’s why we can’t run electric tankless water heaters either. (80 amp).

Anyone an rv tech on here !?

I've seen power jacks draw too many amps because of a poor ground back to the battery (low voltage under load will cause higher amps). I used a booster cable from the jack body right to the battery negative to test. The 12v body ground on many RVs is not solid enough for the new 30 amp load and...

    boat launch etiquette

It takes me less than 1 minute (unaided) to launch. Hit brakes when truck tires touch water. 3 minutes for the electric winch to pull onto trailer. ( unaided). Love having the same simple boat for the past 35 years[emoji4].

    Another Deck Question

No tie down is designed for 1/2 the sled hanging past the deck— common sense says all weight behind wheels is just wrong. That’s why they make long boxes and long decks.[emoji4]

    Contractors getting paid

In most residential projects, I get paid within 30 days . Smaller builders have 30 days max ,larger ones 30 days from the end of the month. Never had to fight for my money in the past 30 years because I only work for contractors I know.No private or cash jobs, as they are nothing but headaches.

Drywallers ,framers, exterior guys, finish carpenters and electricians will add thousands each to the price as compared to stud walls...not anywhere near as fast or simple to do. Worked on many ICF homes.
