I have seen a couple of primary clutches explode similar to that one. The reason was because a spark plug fell out of those spark plug holders that bolt on to the belt cover. The plug bounced up off the belly pan into the clutch and kaboom!

Sounds like you are getting a handle on your latest mods. I believe it is normal for the fitting to get tighter as NPT fittings are slightly tapered to help seal better. You are lucky to be able to work on your truck while at work! Good luck with your mods!

Your next mod should be to add more air to the engine. A turbo upgrade is the way to do it. More air will clean up your burn and make it run a lot harder. Basic rule, add more fuel you have to add more air. If you get bored with that setup then you can add more fuel and change to a larger turbo...
