Im looking at doing post forward as an upgrade this year... So an 08 post will not work with the c3 kit? I should order a new post as well? I read about the new doos having adjustable posts? Any idea what these cost?
So what's the xp really missing? What makes the xm so balanced and flickable? Would an xm skid and track get me as close as I can get to building an xm? Should I consider the flex edge? I've read that it's a barely noticeable upgrade... Agree disagree? My track now is in perfectly fine condition...
I've got a bone stock 08 xp that I want to "update". The plan is to do: pilots ds 2 skis, s-36, t-motion, extreme air vents rear suspension update, aftermarket running boards, post forward, team secondary (new stickers lol jk). The goal is to achieve the same handling to that of an xm. The...
He's lucky he was playin in the trees on the side when it hit him. Must have just caught the edge of the slide. But then again you don't want to get banged around on trees either...
I've been involved in one avalanche snowboarding. Let me tell you everything happens really fast but really slow in your head. As soon the adrenaline kicks in you go into survival mode. I recommend one of those inflatable avy packs.
Hey guys! Looking for any banff/Canmore locals to go sledding with. Due to a *cough* administrative license issue I can't drive my truck :( but I'm a friendly rookie rider who couldn't b easier to get along with. I've been a banff local for 6yrs. If you don't want to head out alone n looking to...
Just have to drive smart IMO. 4x4 is great but not designed to travel highway speeds. You can argue that fixing it is cheaper than a new truck which is absolutely correct but remember that you can always slow down. If I'm in 4x4 I'm not going faster than 90kph... If you NEED to b in 4x4 then...
I realize u can't put a price on safety but some of us do have tighter budgets than others. Do I want an avy bag? Yes. Is $1200 a bit steep for a backpack? I think so... Especially with the mods I need to do to my doo. Surely they can still make money by selling these for 500-60o$ not 11-1200$...
Get the puller. I taking the track off this summer n that bearing was seized n would not budge no matter how much wood I'd stick in there n heat applied... I'm sure the older the sled the tougher it is...
Hey guys, I'm looking to take my sled into the shop. I've only seen a couple during my google search. I'd like to hear about your experiences with the shops in and around calgary
I think a wireless signal sent to you avi-pack via a button on the handle bars is a great idea. I also agree with smokes ez smokes idea that the button should probably be accessible by the left thumb. But its seems like a very expensive option... perhaps in a a couple years the price of this...
My mod this summer will be a complete tear down with full rebuild on motor and chassis. I got the sled pretty cheap so I'm not afraid of spending a couple extra bucks and making a beast for next season.
im not surprised these caribou didnt do well. what if you were taken from your comfy grassy home and dumped off in the middle of the mountains. you'd be like wtf?! lets get out of here! I read a comment suggesting breeding programs as a better solution. Im inclined to agree
Just keep searching kijiji and be patient. I picked up a killer deal this winter. You won't find that bargain the first time you go on but your new sleds out there bud! prices drop during summer too
