I can one up you there. Selling both sleds, deck and trailer. I to am poor. It has been a shatty year in the markets for this guy. I will rocking a 1987 Tundra next winter.

The 925 bb cat worked very well this year combined with jaws exhaust, reeds, and some extensive intake work they are a serious contender. The etec 860 working very good aswell WITHOUT the added cost of a fuel controller. The 950 worked flawlessly on the powertek, not a cheap option but its over 200hp at elevation. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year, it was an awesome season with more work than i could handle. We are looking at a serious expansion over the summer, but we are here and here to stay. Anyone interested in summer work which i highly recommend instead of last minute major mods can contact me at the shop. 780 986 6370

Good article Momma! Summer mods will consist of a big bore kit for wife's Pro RMK (cylinders already sent out), and maybe an aftermarket rear suspension & 911 cover for my M1100T, as well as the usual "tear it down to the tunnel" maintenance. It has been a ritual for as long as I've been riding to do any major mods / repairs / upgrades in the off season, one can usually get a deal, and vendors aren't running off their feet trying to fill orders. As mentioned in the article, a rush job is never a good thing, take the time in the off season instead of scrambling in the fall...

Usually give the tunnel a polish, add stabilizer and check fittings clamps and bolts, replace any rivets that are loose

I got a new XM coming. But I was thinking of putting a 173 and belt drive on the old 880xp,,, Or possiby get a older M1000 Race gas Turbo for a sled to work on and use just as a Hill Climber.They are goin pretty cheap these days.

But the Seasons Not quite over yet so we'll see...

Must say 200hp at elevation on a big bore must have it just a singing a lot of badly tuned turbos barly can make that. Good job, may have to stop by.

A 950 twin making over 220hp (sea level)? Who built that or better question who dynoed it?

Probably a Bikeman or Crankshop. Not alot of 950ptec's around. Trygstad claims they can get 200hp out of a stock bore 800ptec.. And more out of there 872 race engine.

my mods will be tracking down new rails or possibly just a whole new skid for the gf's m6 she managed to tweak like a pro this year, anyone know how putting a 162" would effect the power on a 600? and then just some minor chit to the m8 to try help to get her sold over the summer/fall

I said over 200 not 220 lets not get carried away here guys. ALL of our engines bb, boosted, ported or just a rebore and re nik are done at Arctic Edge Motorsports. They are dyno'd there as well and that dyno sits at 4500ft. And yes Rsaint the 950 and 925 make alot of pump gas turbos hang their heads. The 925 uses stock looking cat cylinders, the 950 is a crank shop head and cylinder with Brents porting.

When you said "elevation" I assumed 6K. A motor making over 200 at that elevation would be at least 220 corrected to sea level. Still over 200 at 4500' is strong. What gas?
I'm surprised an e-tec 800 has enough case volume to make those kinds of numbers.

My mod this summer will be a complete tear down with full rebuild on motor and chassis. I got the sled pretty cheap so I'm not afraid of spending a couple extra bucks and making a beast for next season.
