Bumper heights and mud flaps laws have been in effect for many years in BC. Every year there is a field day with the small penis crowd from the cops. Same as window tint for the pot heads. I dont agree with banning a vehicle from hieght as far as the unit can pass the stopping distance tests...
seems like the pipeline blow outs that have happened since this thread got started have really slowed down the Alberta side of the debate!?? Now Natural gas has been moved to the "clean fuel" section as far as creating electricity, BC has made another step forward towards exporting a product...
Over 80 percent of homes are heated with natural gas, or at least are hooked up to a natural gas line. I prefer pellets but still have 2 natural gas furnaces.
Killer Quote
!!!!Barter said. “This one is significant enough that we issued a news release on it.’
seriously said that to the news!!!!! Cause that says reliability all over it!!!!
This is the company that is asking for permission to pipe across BC.
And your facts are? The time since i went to school and you did are a bit different. The "feds" can not push this through, it's in the media, it's part of every political campaign, nobody can win an election if they advocate against the environment or the native lands. There is no way it will...
The Feds have set the LNG plant in motion the crude pipe line is still a "pipe dream" The LNG plant will take 3 dollar Natural gas to 17 dollars. I dont know if you Albertans pay attention but Apache just announced it hit the big show that rivals the middle east in gas finds? It bigger than the...
The flooding of the peace river will all be for BC, it's owned by "BC Hydro" do you see the connection? There is very little environmental impact, it is clean, and the jobs created will be for BC for the next 50 years. All BC gets out of the pipeline is initial construction roll offs and very...
I believe 70 percent is owned by the crown and the rest private and native. The crown land is controlled by the provincial government. Kind of like BC putting a powerline through Alberta to Saskatchewan, you would be able to vote to let it go!!
BC dosnt have to be a "sovereign" state to govern the use of land, there is not an eminent domiegn clause between provinces. BC can shut this down. The alberta oil will have to take another route period. The fishieries off the coast are to valuable to put at risk. I dont know the numbers on the...
I didnt talk about "venting" just that if a leak happens, which in both oil and gas happens, it dosnt hurt the environment as bad. and yes i agree the dirty crude is needed to make stuff. I just dont want a pipeline through my play ground, or in my fishin' hole. Refine that crap in your province...
LOL Mike, no i didnt, the grow shows are running wild, mostly cause the growers get so baked that they forget were they planted......then they touch their willies too much
You need to more research sir. Apache has just let the press know they hit another gas resevoiur that is bigger than the horn river basin. It can supply that LNG plant in Kitamat for 10 years. 2 bucks for gas here 17 overseas! clean and even if there is a leak it goes directly to atmosphere, no...
You need to look up the word "ignorant" before you use it................... I am far from it and to use that word so loosely you, sir, have shown your eduction!!
