Might be able to, guess there is a new ECU program on the 2019 that’s is more aggressive, should be able to get the 2018 updated and get some of that lost power back.
But I am curious about the compared results. Do they do multiple runs over several months to account for variations in...
2019 Cat has gone to a shallower keel that stays the same width all the way to the back instead of tapering. Sounds like it is even more like the Gripper.
Supposedly Cat has a new more aggressive tune on the 2019 motors to up the HP so it might not be much difference between all the motors. Of course they will still have the marketing issue of ‘only’ an 800.
Doubt they could have another new motor out in that short a time, even with Textron...
We have Lux windows, aluminum clad, fir trim inside. They did a very nice job of providing custom sizes as well as taking stained glass panels we gave them and making both opening and fixed windows from them. They have been installed for 10 years now and no issues yet.
There was a thread on this earlier, I have had the same issue, makes an annoying sound but doesn’t seem to affect anything. Keep meaning to open up the cover and check the the belt when it does it to see if there is anything noticeable.
Oh I really want one as well. But I am going to try to be sensible this time . But then I wasn’t going to buy one with the new motor until it had at least a year on it, but then I walked into a dealer who had them on the floor and the next thing I knew I had one so we’ll see how...
Reading some of the comments from Arctic Cat in one article sounds like they are really trying to set expectations on where you should’ve be riding if you want one of these sleds. IE don’t buy it if you mostly ride packed trails or low snow conditions. Get it if you like tight trees, technical...
Kind of lost in the single rail hype is that they finally redid the handlebar controls, have a new brake system with shorter lever and are putting a standard tether on almost all their sleds, not as sexy, but nice to see they are taking care of the small things too.
Re: 2019 release dates ??
Because they were trying to keep it as narrow as possible so they could centralize the weight better. There is a good article in the latest snowest issue about the new 600 where they were mentioning that one of the design issues for it, was making sure it would fit...
