I ran a 40 shot on my 1000. That 1000 seems to really like spray. I had boss noss with EGT. I ran the timbersled intake for one ride. Did not like it at all. Switched back to stock and it ran alot better. I had 5000 miles on my 1000.

The 06 and 07 1000 summits did not come with the small rear cooler. It is not needed. Loses 6-7 lbs off the back including coolant.

We did try one Stock Nytro track backwards but it was with a MCX turbo. It did seem to help for a couple of rides but just started to turn over and bend just like when it was run the normal direction.

I run a Apex takeoff backwards on my Nytro. No problems as of yet. Running it backwards seems to help with traction.

I ran slidekicks on my sled while trail riding in Saskatchewan. Before I put them on I burnt 2 sets of slides in 50 miles. Didn't burn a set in 500 miles since putting on the reversible scratchers. They worked good for me.

If you are going to buy one, IMO you atleast need to change the track. The stock track is terrible. Murray has a 162 15 2.5 (I think) wide with no turbo and I was really impressed on how it climbed.
