Hey , anyone have GPS file they can send me for the rail line from Misty Valley east ? Were planning on going this Sunday & staging somewhere close to Misty Valley & heading east for a day trip & would bee cool to check out the old schoolhouse , caboose & Palmer's Cabin that i hear people...
so i ended up doing that trip around end of sept.....its a good ride but we couldn't make it to the top , the wind was so intense that it was shaking the hell out of the side by side...we got up to "A" peak , maybe 1/2-3/4 the way up though...pretty cool view ! but you could definitely go higher
didn't think there would be much snow...i was snowboarding in jasper a couple of weeks ago & they didn't have much either....just thought id ask....dont want to get up past the Whitehorse campground with a 30' trailer & find out i have to navigate back down in revere
just wondering if anyone has been out in the Cadomin area recently & what the snow depth is like.....wanting to take the family in to ruby falls & have lunch at the falls....quads & SxS....wanting to stage at the top of the divide & ride down the cardinal river road & into the lower ruby...
What about Toma trail in the Cadomin area.....I have never been up to the peak but crossed paths with some guys coming back down & they said they were up at the very peak
i was in there about 2 months ago with a RZR 1000 with a wider than stock stance....trail is tight ! only had to winch once but we knew that as we got to the hole....everyone had to winch out...its about a 5`wall out......super rough ride...Cabin is cool....makes a guy wonder how they got all...
thanks for the info guys , i didnt think that the big & little horns were open , as ive been riding in the area for a few years & never seen any makings for them.
i was aware of the whitegoat staging area but just thought the horns would be a cool loop/trip if open/accessible
anyone know the...
with trax , its legit. its the wheels/tires that are not permitted . dudes out there in their beefed up quads & side by sides with 30" mud tires chewing up the trails is whats not permitted
so were lookin at heading out to the sugar bowl this Sunday feb 14th couple RZRs with trax . never been before & wondering if anyone has GPS coordinates of the loop staging at crescent falls to to hit the bighorn trail & back through the littlehorn trail ? i have been riding up around the dam...
