spindles are weak and could of bent also. set the bars straight and adjust the tie rods for 1/4" toe out. which ever side wasnt bent should of still been straight with the bars, if not you have something else bent
like i said on your snowest post, delete the thing and never have the issue again. cost you a few cents for resistors and a few more cents for a pipe plug. ran this on my 12 for years with no issues
about 1600km on my 18 and zero issues. chain chase was replaced with a belt drive so that cant fail, snow flap was removed so that cant rip off, tunnel was braced so that "cant" bend, air box was sealed up so that cant pass snow and defender intake installed so it cant ingest any snow. never...
my 2018 also had the right plug to plug into the magnetic tether. that one your holding looks like an accessory plug not the tether plug. but if you do need the harness you can get it here
love the magnetic tether. never had a single issue with mine retrofitted onto my 18. no freezing, no little screw to fall out, grips well to not accidently come out. 10/10 would buy again. the shark tether is nice but its a lot more money
according to the parts fiche the sidewinder still uses the old style snap ring on the brake side and the 2018+ cats use the double nuts. im sure you can swap them and use the snap ring but cant say for sure
yes it will. you need all of the plastics (hood, intake, panels, belly pan etc etc) and narrow running boards for them to fit properly. you can buy the complete kit from here and comes with headlight delete http://www.bd-xtreme.com/index.php?id_product=758&controller=product
TKI belt drive and forget about it. no oil to change, no gears/chain to wear out, no grenading the chain case if anything fails and of course the benefit of lighter weight and less rotating mass. with a belt drive your buying efficiency, reliability and peace of mind. wont have a sled without one
as stated they are plug and play into the 18's, already did mine. for the older ones you need a harness which a few guys sell on FB groups and another guy on snowest for like 10-15$. OTF also makes a much more expensive kit for the poo 850 that will work. youd have to cut off the poo connector...
like the whole gauge quit or just lost speed/ODO? check the pickup that's on the side of the belt drive. not sure how TKI is but C3 you had to remove the old pickup and silicone onto the belt drive case. that may of come loose, bad connection, fell out, etc or the pickup just plain failed
ive always removed them and never noticed any ill effects. didn't have them on the 3 different skids in my 2012, removed them from my 2018 and they didn't come on my 5k carbon skid either.
just figured id post a couple pictures of the new bumper/tunnel brace I had my buddy whip up in his machine shop. I knew the 18's had a fair bit weaker tunnel so I wanted to protect that but not tie into the main tunnel as I know how hard those are to change from experience. I wanted a raised...
