The first thing I would do is put on a good clutch kit, some re gearing, and get the carbs re jetted proper. Than start with the other stuff fix the suspension too your liking, get rid of the stock skis ( they suck), change the track. Those are pretty much the first thing I do to those xp of the...
Kootenaycat, it's not that there won't be anymore sledding they are looking at the safety of running the cat on the roads. That is why they want the exclusive for the roads. The only way they can kick us out is if it is exclusive land tenure or if it is on private land.
We were dealing with...
Was up on the summit last weekend skiing lots of fresh, but the only thing in my mind was I wish we were allowed to sled in there and no caribou. Riding from the house would be sweet.
Im running 20 51 gearing in my one of my xp 154 and love it and the other is belt drive with a 2.52 ratio thats wicked too. You also may want to do some clutching too for that new track going on.

Do a cold and hot compression check at wot and post your numbers than we can see what your compression and the fitness is at. Most times i'm doing our top ends around 3000km's but have let one go to 5000kms before the compression was starting to get on the low side.
The oil is for the rings so they are not sitting dry, and same as before start up it not like your pouring a litre down there just a few cc's a very small amount.
Detensioning springs does help, leaving them tensioned (exp. at a high level)the spring will sac out sooner seen it may times on...
First thing give it a really good cleaning and inspection if there is parts you need for next season start ordering them in the summer not at the last minute like most people.
