The Oil industry is just another 'industry' like lumber, mines, farming and dams.
All of them have haters and all of them have hard working folks making a living. I remember 10 years ago when the coal mines went south and Grande Cache, AB was the loneliest place in Alberta. Or how about when the...
I also heard they were going to launch a version of Play Boy for married guys too.
It will feature the same girl every month.
*** An oldie, but a goodie in case ya have not heard it yet.
If you get a chance watch StormCloudsGathering on you tube.... if ya really want to feel helpless and go bat**** crazy with conspiracy theories.
This global downfall and turbulence has been predicted years ago. The dudes pulled all the pieces together so that you could get some sense of what is...
First thing... I can tell ya that some old time vigilantism does not pay. Many years ago I beat up a thief I caught stealing my car stereo. And to add insult, I broke a couple fingers to make sure he remembered it.
My day in court saw me being a big ol boy bully for picking on this poor...
Bad Az? LOL. No I am not a IT guy, but I was wondering what your handle meant.
You have sharp wit, kinda made me smile whilst replying to your self. Good luck with your paint job. Do not hit anything when it is -10C or less, flex properties in the paint or not, there will be much flaking and...
5 AM? How about noooo!... pancake houses are not even open and if I am cooking brekkie, I might up and moving by 7 am. Be at parking lot by 9. Ride hard til 4 PM. That is a good day for a 50 yo dude like me.
Wraps.... I think is a personal thing, I like plain and understated stock look. Maybe...
I am going to do my Avy Pack pre-test this weekend, so a couple new cannisters will be required. Sounds like Martin's is the best place to go for replacements..
Considering your overall expense to travel to western Canada for a sled trip a couple times a year, I am thinking that Avy gear rental is the best way.
I go 4 - 7 times a year and it almost made sense for me to rent. Now I have the cost of maintaining and testing the gear a couple times a year...
I got both pairs at the Edmonton Sled show. Same kiosk as the Snow-Bunje. First pair I bought was from the big guy for Thunderstruck video's. He did not lead me astray about how good those gloves would be.
Give me your address and I will send you a couple that I have left over from my project. Complete with screws and spacers.
I will send them on Friday Oct 9th. Cost... next time I am in Lloyd, you can buy me a beer. :)
Bought a 2nd pair of the TAG X1. Still have not used the Motorfist gloves.
I have pretty good circulation in my hands, so usually I have no handle bar or thumb heat when I am riding actively. Once things slow down on the ride home, I will switch into dry gloves and lo heat if it is cold (usually...
What if you prepped your sled trailer to stay in for a couple days? Is camping over nite in the parking lot allowed? I often camp in my trailer during hunting season.
We have cots, heat, food and booze. No need to leave.
Re: So you own and Airbag eh?
Once a year is when we test our Avy packs. Try doing it riding on a quad and then deploy. It gives a realistic dry land drill on how you would actually do it riding a sled and holding onto a handle bar. High speeds are not recommended... just sayin.
Reading the Meteorologists discussion about El Nino and the probabilities of weather forecasting (whew... long sentence) for the Rockies can be summarized as this:
If the jet stream from the Pacific ricochets off of the 'Blob' and heads north, the probability is that moisture from the Pacific...
