Suspicious activity also clarifies for a call to 911. The police are obligated to serve and protect but I feel as a society we have a resonposibilaty to act as pillars of community to protect and serve our neighbors. I'm just saying a simple call to the police could have turned to be something bigger, maybe he killed a guy stole his bike and exhaust or maybe it wasn't stolen and he didn't have a second vehicle and was making a delivery. I dunno just saying down the line someone probably would appreciate the call was made. I've only ever had to call once and it was for a drunk driver running people off the road. Maybe it did nothing, maybe it saved someone. It could be paid forward to you one day.

Police are obligated to "serve and protect". But it's certainly not us, They are obligated to serve and protect the GOVERNMENT!

Sorry to let you guys down, next time Ill be sure to run him over and tie him to the sun dial to send a strong message to the other bicycle riding exhaust thieves. Hopefully I can redeem myself.

First thing... I can tell ya that some old time vigilantism does not pay. Many years ago I beat up a thief I caught stealing my car stereo. And to add insult, I broke a couple fingers to make sure he remembered it.
My day in court saw me being a big ol boy bully for picking on this poor desperate dude reduced to theft to make rent.
Assault - Causing bodily harm. And... because I intentionally broke his fingers after the beating I gave him, I got 18 months of probation because I was a mean fekr.
I heard that the the crown dropped the theft charges because of his undue suffering he had to go through, or so the lawyer argued.

Second thing... that must have been one determined dude to hack or saw off 3 cat cons and then ride home with them with a pedal bike. I am sorry, but that is one of the funniest mental images I have had in a long time.

You could have plead ignorance and said the guy looked drunk because he was trying to ride his bake on the hiway and he was going to get run over. Imagine the cops surprise when he sees this pin head trying to ride a bike with 80 pounds of exhaust pipe strapped to his handle bars...

That right there is the problem......most citizens do a good job by trying to lead an honest life and report any crimes....the cops usually do a good job by putting the criminals in jail....then, these damn bleeding heart judges DON'T do their job by keeping the criminal locked up.....this causes the cops to give up saying unless it's a major crime and a sure thing....what's the use....then those honest citizen's say why should I waste my time and risk possible retribution if no one else cares......viscous circle

we need to recall those judges not doing the job assigned to them.

can we recall a judge who is not doing his/her job???
