Well, after many years away from boating, I took the plunge. Not a jet but should be a great fishing boat. Hewescraft 200 Pro V ET. I’ve installed Scotty 2106 downriggers, rod holders, and a Lowrance Elite 9ti gps/sonar combo. Can’t wait to get it on the water.
I’ve read a few times that the 800 H.O. was dynoed at mid 160’s. 9% increase should put it mid to high 170’s.

When I installed that style of box on my ‘12 850XP, I bought 4 of the Polaris Lock & Ride mounts. I made a cardboard template of the rack, then drilled corresponding holes in the box to install the L&R mounts. Box never fell off but was very easy to remove when needed...
Longer wheelbase on the X3, but shorter on the normally aspirated Mav. , as well as the Mav having less travel. So wouldn't that make the Mav's suspension "subpar" compared to the RZR 1000XP ?

Just curious, but why is the RZR's suspension suddenly "subpar" ? The X3 definately offers the most travel with 20"-24" depending on the package, but it hardly makes the RZR's 18" of travel obsolete. If you compare apples to apples in the normally aspirated category, the RZR 1000 still has more...
My "point" is I made a comment on the similarity to the RZR 1000 rear suspension and a few of you got your panties in a knot. For the record, I've got over 1,600 miles on my RZR and still have the original wheel bearings. They're not all bad just because you may have had bad luck.

After looking at the pics in this thread, it would seem BRP totally ripped off the rear suspension design of the RZR 1000. Wait, my mistake. BRP had that design on paper for years and Polaris ripped it off before BRP could bring it to market. Ya, that's it.
