i saw that too just now and that's interesting. stands to reason though that the engine is producing more power and therefore more heat so they made some changes but who knows.

increased cooling around the spark plugs and the plugs are more centered (not lowered as i mentioned above). prolly multiple tweaks across the engine that are too small to mention on doo's promo video regarding G4 to G5 changes.

a few more changes than just the tune: new head with revised cooling new fuel rail and injectors plugs lowered to reduce risk of knocking

only thing i saw in the '25 online owner's manual that's related is the gearing which is 19/53.

that's a decent weight difference but i hear ya, that's a lot of cash. i'd only consider something like that if i was going all out on a lightweight sled with carbon skid, etc., which won't happen because i am lacking in the skill department and less weight both in wallet and sled won't help.
