Isn't it cheaper to get a Gym membership, eat good, work out than spend all this money to loose 15 lbs? This alternate method has more benefits than shedding some weight.

Now your starting to sound like 90% of people on this forums wives lol. Buzzkill on the whole aftermarket business from the sounds of things

Does skidoo make a race hood for the g5? The one for the Old XM was really light, and wasn't that much $$$

Ya those prices are also in USD plus shipping on top of that. I weighed my hood with the large gauge its 17lbs. I wish there were better hood options like polaris has, I don't feel like forking out $2800 -3000 Canadian for a hood.

that's a decent weight difference but i hear ya, that's a lot of cash. i'd only consider something like that if i was going all out on a lightweight sled with carbon skid, etc., which won't happen because i am lacking in the skill department and less weight both in wallet and sled won't help.

Ya I hear ya, I bet my gauge weighs 4 - 5 lbs more than the small gauge so that hood should save a guy about 8lbs total, does it include the hood intake? If you need to re use your stock hood intake that would add a couple lbs to their hood as I weighed mine with the stock hood intake attached

you’d think with as pricey of an item as this that they would offer more details.
