I got to stop by Denny Andrews ford some day and inquire with them, they supposedly sell hypertec tuners and hypertec makes just a speedo recalibator. If it will affect the warranty.
What have most of you guys done/used to correct the speedometer on your trucks after changing tire sizes? I'm running a 2011 F350 and my speedo is out by about 10kmh
That's exactly what that driveshaft is suppose to do in case of a very high shock load. I've seen video of the canam gncc race teams do that and the engineers said it was designed to twist up like that, to protect the trans
What brand of oil and is it suitable of wet brakes.
I fill all my customer machines with shell spirax 80w-90 because its suppose to get changed every 500hrs and just not cost effective to run synthetic oil unless require by the manufacture like Volvo rock trucks that run 75w-90
Then I would suggest a 3/4 ton with a gas engine. Won't have as good of mileage when hauling big loads over more then two sleds but will be better overall for daily use.
