Used to have a 5b but it just wouldn't hold together for me...The losi ran perfect when it was stock but now I'm having issues with the new motor.

My 5b is good except the clutch bell is stock with stock holders and if I jump it and land on pavement with full throttle (which u pretty much have to do with a 5b or nose dive into the ground it will eventually break the clutch bell. I put a main chassis in it made by kraken (solid thick plastic and ITS AWSOME!!!) and turtle racing front end pieces And like 6 light pods with crazy light controller.... So far so good just need to get a better clutch system. By far the funniest to drive because I usually get the wife to drive the car and I drive it infront of her at about 75-78 km per hour but I also upgraded it to have carbon fiber front brakes (thing sucks at stoping I found)... My little savage I have done minor mods to it but it running on 3s is always blowing axles (I have it on street tires and its pretty fun that way). The Vorza IS just a monster to much power on 6s changed the gearing to tame it down but no difference at all with the center diff in it this thing will easily still try to flip over from full throttle and easily blow tires off the wheels.... I put a gps in it and ran it full tilt got it going 112 on street tires. My revo... Gave up on it after keep on busting spindles and I blew the motor but it was fun at the skate park that's about it.

Esc's can handle up to 16s lipo...If set up correctly should do somewhere close to 90mph if not more. Only problem is I have NO idea how to build a boat lol.

Dont have any pics but when i was younger i had a rc 10 L which only had electric power for steering. The correct term would be propulsion was provided by a D size final stage rocket engine. I would have the steering wheel control ready, touch the wires for the ignitor and try to keep it on the road. I had a pipe fiberglassed across the front of the rocket tube so when the blast was done the final stage engine puts out colored smoke for effect and so i could find it.

Thanks, it's funny to look back at some of the crawlers I put together 5 or 6 years ago compared to the couple I have built recently. When you build a crawler though, if it doesn't work you just take it back to the garage. A boat...Might hit 70mph and find out the motors are a little too far backwards and it yardsales on the water lol.

quite a few of my buds are into RC boats, but they are all nitros. I would like to do an electric boat, especially one like that. those are some big azz motors

Duck,

are they still racing boats on that little pond on the North East Corner of the Henday overpass? or have they moved to another facility?

Nice pics, there's just something about a boat with just the prop and the rudder left in the water...

And yes they are big azz motors, I had a big stupid grin on my face pulling them out of the box haha.

I have had good luck so far with my savage X 4.6 it always runs good, but have had issues with the spur gears. The slip clutch burns out and if I tighten it more then the teeth strip off. Now I got a different problem it won't go forward it will role backwards, but as soon as you role forward it jams up! Typical 2 stroke always something to fix! Still have a gas powered Traxxas, although I'm pretty sure the motor is toast.
