That's the problem, they are 100% highway miles. Truck didnt have a scratch on it, seats still perfect, you name it, it was perfect. To look at or drive it you wouldn't think it had over 150kms on it. BUT the clock reads 300. Probably has less engine running hours than most trucks around 200K...
Yesterday morning I T boned an SUV that blew a stop sign at a blind intersection. I hit them really hard broad side, spun them backwards and they slid backward into a house. Totally their fault. I walked away not hurt at all. They all left in the meat wagon but they will be fine too. My worry...
There is no stopper on the back of the heim joint like on the factory one. I was playing around with it and I don't think its possible to over extend it front to back. I didn't look at it super close but the whole assembly just wont allow enough movement to make that stopper necessary I don't...
Finally got some time to get started on the sled last night. Front scratchers, pre filter kit, quick clickers installed. Warning decals and engine bay foam removed. Skid pulled out and new Emotion set up in place of old suspension stuff.
Quartz creek is a good beginner area. Usually a safer bet to go a bit later on in the year when there is a good base. That way there is a better chance she will get stuck less.
I snowchecked from Mr.R's. Got a phone call during the summer from my salesman telling me new way bought them out. He told me all deals stay the same. Picked up my sled last week and all was good on that end.
Brake clean is great for cleaning clutches but don't get any on the inner sheaves. It's an enemy for belts. Clean the sheave faces with soapy water and a scotch brite pad. Give them a good scrub until you get a nice cross hatch on the faces.
Lol I hear ya loud and clear. I thought you were taking that another direction. But yes I agree that would be a really tough pill to swallow if that happened to a legit home owner.
There is a 40 year old house on the tsu tina nation that isn't boarded up and used as a crack house? I just figured they got a new one every couple years no matter what. Highway should be no biggy
Its hard to tell from the pics but 4 are actually on the outside of the legs and the other 4 only come into the box space an inch or two on the bottom side and angle up to the outside of the legs. They are very easy to get at. I had to pull my deck out today actually and I had it on the ground...
What's everyone doing to their XM's for the season? I have been stockpiling a few parts and now that the sled is home I have some work to do. First round of work I have ski scratchers, track scratchers, quick clickers, grip n rip braces, Baker tunnel braces and drop bracket reinforcements, Toms...
I would agree they are good for over 6000miles at least. To check run out you need to remove the primary clutch and both spark plugs so the engine rolls over easy . Then mount a dial indicator to the engine case and put the indicator on the end of the crank stub. Roll the engine over and see how...
I have been able to salvage new oil by tipping the sled on its side and resting the handle bar on something and lifting the back of the track up and resting I on something too. That way all the oil just rests inside he case with minimal to no loss
