I have a '14 with a TSS running 8psi on 100% av gas and a 3'' track. Its by far the funnest sled I have owned. I also liked the idea of supporting a Canadian turbo builder.
Ya, use EFILive. You can buy the set up with the tunes you want pre programmed spacifically for your truck. Or you can find a tuner to ride along with you and build tunes for you that way. I used EFILive Duramax Cummins Diesel Performance Parts EFI Live | ATPTrucks I am very happy with them. My...
I would say it depends on the tune used. I have limped my trans on a 70hp tune with an edge tuner. I am now running a 120hp EFI Live tune and I don't think I can limp it on that. I have run it very hard a few times and no issues.
To the OP I would say go for it with that truck if it looks good...
The last silber kit I seen was on a Pro that was burnt down into a heap of scrap metal in the middle of the boulder parking lot. The guy said he was having trouble getting it to run right lol
That's pretty funny stuff, them Woolsey boys are quite the dudes. Sorry to hear about your dad. My Dad is Cam Hurd, He would be a couple years older than you too. Your probably close to my mom Lynda's age im guessing
You bet, my mom is a Busby. I just texted my dad and he thinks he knows who you are. Figures you used to hang out with Ron or Kyle Woolsey, Their his cousins
Interesting, our home farm is 2 miles straight west of the old towers. My other side of the family has owned and operated the Melfort funeral home since the mid 70's. I go there lots still, we have a cabin at Barrier lake that I try to get to often
There is lots of jobs to be had. I don't really think its a who you know thing either. I think most operators are $30 or more around the city. I have been to Regina many many times and I prefer Calgary but that's just me. Its a pretty clean city and is a close drive to lots of cool things...
Did all you guys grow up in Melfort? I was born there and moved to AB when I was 8. Both my parents lived their whole lives there and all my relatives still live there. I lived on a farm south of town a few miles SW of the research farm.
That post was in reference to the rave cover melting. Sorry I don't know how to quote posts from my phone. Nothing really to take a pic of there lol
I did however break a hole on one of my air intakes and I'm going to look into one of those vent cover things you posted up, thanks
