The entire Okanagan valley is in a quake zone. We have had them before.

How about all of BC is in an earthquake zone, not just your beloved Okanagan.

Loosening of the snow pack is one thing, but I'd be ten fold more concerned about something like the Frank slide reoccurring. I wouldn't think it would happen to quite the same scale, but even still. Even if a quake itself didn't cause a major rock slide, it would certainly be a prime opportunity to form new big cracks in the rock and mountains themselves. Followed by some water filling cracks and freezing. Boom, we all know what could happen after that. This topic is unnerving for me. Scary business imho.

I suspect fracking up here in NE BC caused it
