Here's my take (not a lot of experience)... I have a 2000 700 Summit, and the spring has bent tips on both ends of the spring. They fit into holes on the helix and secondary, and you can adjust preload tension by changing which holes you use. Most aftermarket setups ignored the preload...
Should have everyone up to date again. Just a note.... if you haven't received the email, check your junk mail, as it seems to end up in there a lot so far.
You can do this right in Mapsource. Open one of your gdb, mps, or gpx files, navigate to your tracks, routes, or waypoints, select which ones you want, copy, then open another file, and paste. You can also merge tracks, filter tracks, etc. The only thing I use an external program for is...
I need to find somewhere I can put the files first. It isn't too bad yet, I just forward the same email to the next bunch of people.... Once I convert some boundaries to files that can go on a GPS, then I think it will be too busy to do it this way.
I had to cut some rubber/plastic down on my Ski-doo by Smith's to get them to work. I am assuming that most of the Smith would be the same way? With 509's, there is a big plastic hump in the middle of the top, which makes it tough to fit, but 509 rebrands the Habervision eliminator, and theirs...
The Liberty (not sure the exact years) was rated the worst SUV in rear end collisions. The headrests literally snapped off the driver and passenger seats in one video I saw. Never know when some douche is gonna smoke ya sitting at a light or something... just a thought.
Firstly, my condolences,
Secondly, did anybody notice the huge amount of detail about the avalanche on the Utah Avalanche page? They have a snow profile, pictures with explanations, videos, etc. It would be nice to have that much information about any avalanches that happen in Canada.
I think that in 82 they switched from points to CDI. I had an 81, and I think that it was the last year for the points. It was also the last year for the premix too. That sled took a beating, and it had a ton of miles on it....
If you don't have access to heat shrink, some good quality tape (3M Scotch Super 33+ or Super 88) will do the trick, just wrap it many, many times over a 2" span where your rope rests against the metal grommet. Good preventative measure.
I had about 70 pulls into my 2000 700 before i said p!$$ on it and put some fuel down the cylinders (doesn't take much), kept the choke on full, and right away it ran for a couple of seconds. From there, I kept pulling, and it fired up a few pulls later. Between the fogging in the spring, the...
I think that the 4 wheel kit on hill climb sleds is for stability and predictability, as those sleds spend a lot of time with nothing on the snow except the back part of the track, and when they drop into ruts or bounce around, they don't need the track flexing to make the sled pull harder to...
Rudy,
I had my rope pull through my handle and disappear into the recoil at the base of Renshaw one morning. No e-start for me, so I pulled out the wrenches. It took 20 minutes to unbolt the recoil, wind it up a bunch of times, fish the end of the rope back through the hole, put a temporary...
