Stiffen your rear shock. That skid has held the skis down on some pretty big powered apexes back in the day. Give Daryl a call at 1403-254-8686 if you have any questions.
I find I get a lot of brake/ gas codes breaking trail when its socked in. I tend to hover/ drag the brake the whole time in anticipation of that wind lip that grew overnight.
I’d say none of them. I’ve seen NA sleds up 90, Sweeny, and monster. Seen videos of the angry pirate and the arm being climbed on an 860 REV.
Which ones you got yer eye on? I’ll bring the popcorn.
Maybe I can get an 850 clutching analysis too.
Re: Boost it xic controller help
The electric start XMs were mounted on top of the throttle bodies. Shouldn’t be that much water getting up there but you could put it in a clear pelican case like Cnelson6 mentioned.
It almost seems like he was trying to ‘Jim Balsillie’ himself a Sicamous Doo dealership.
I don’t believe that anyone, no matter how rich, extends themselves to the tune of 8 figures without a written agreement unless they’re trying to do some sort of railroad power play. Just my 2 cents.
If the sled still has warranty that might be the way to go.
Something must have deformed in the pipe when it came loose to make it bottom out all of a sudden. Might be worth while trying to chase the threads
The retainer also would add thickness below the head and may keep it from bottoming out.
40- 50 hours labour? That just blows my mind. That’s a fully trained technician working on the sled for more than a week to complete it. It would be interesting to know what BRPs flat rate on an e & s module swap is.
Seems me like dealers may be inflating the labour costs in order to write...
That’s the whole point of getting the endorsement certified by an appraisal it locks in the value of the vehicle and that amount is paid on a loss. The premiums for this type of policy are higher than conventional premiums but it guarantees the value of your vehicle.
That sucks. Did your dealer contact you about the bulkhead reinforcement recall? Not saying it would have saved everything but it may have minimized the damage.
Last weekend I was climbing up a creek wide open and hit a cut off tree just under the snow. It stopped me dead and I flew over...
At most the sled needs an E & S Module- total retail cost of $884.98. How would replacing $900 in parts write off a $18,000 sled??? Typically insurance companies will write off a unit when the repairs approach 60% of it's value. Even at $16,000 60% is $9600. That's a lot of labor!
You need to find insurance that will provide an SEF 19a Valued Automobile Endorsement. Which will allow you to specify an appraised replacement value on the policy which is what will be paid in the event of a loss. The only problem is finding an accredited appraiser to provide a certified...
Not Quite. The claimed weight difference between the 2 Stroke and 4 Stroke versions of the Renegade is 41lbs and your 850 is at about 130 HP at 6500 feet. See below.
HP Loss = (elevation x 0.03 x horsepower @ sea level)/1000
32.175 = (6500 x .03 x 165(claimed)) / 1000
132.8 HP @ 6500 FT
Because the TRA is a completely different clutch than the PDrive. Adjusting the clickers on the TRA only changed the ramp angle, making it steeper (if going to a higher number) and resisting the roller and flyweight from travelling up it thus causing the engine to rev more. The location of...
Order some of this stuff. It’s a lead scavenger.
