Boost it xic controller help

Hey looking for some help. I have the altitude comp. kit, where are everyone’s xic fuel controllers mounted? Boost it mounted mine on top the air box. I believe mine is taking on moisture and wondering if I could put it in a dry box? Sled Will run fine for the first hour then starts to act up. Starts to backfire and run poor when getting into boost. At this point my fuel controller display will have moister in it, and I can’t get no response from the buttons.
Take it home dry it out and sled will run fine.

Was your sic not mounted in a small pelican box. Mine is on an apex but this is how it is kept dry on the yamaha.

Mine is mounted by the chain case inside a plastic box.

Don’t know if that helps a guy out. Mine is the altitude comp kit.

The electric start XMs were mounted on top of the throttle bodies. Shouldn’t be that much water getting up there but you could put it in a clear pelican case like Cnelson6 mentioned.
