wow bunged that one up 22/49 mountains,
25/45 for 660 feet flatland snowdrags with 8 tooth drivers and a 14" wide 154 trencher light track with the paddles cut to 1.75 with holiday ice screws.
i'd be leary of the 270/271 springs and spacers. i'm 225 before gear and they were a little stiff for my liking so i am goin back to a set of stock freeride springs and see if i cant find that happy medium.
are you stock timing?, the aaen pipe makes most of it's power midrange from what i understand. mine works better loaded up. are you stock gears? i am running 22/49 with my 154 3" 7 tooth drivers. what kind of clutch kit are you running. is you pipe ceramic?, if your looking to get rid of it i...
i thought i read somewhere the reason BRP cranked the oil up on the 850 was because of all the people on the forums bragging about not using xps oil in their etecs. so they richened them up so you can run ams or whatever in them and they would survive the 4 year warranty.
ECM's are hard to diagnose because they never tell on themselves. and most shops wont have an ECM laying around to test with not for an etec, coils for a 550 fan on the other hand. maybe that's just a northern thing. i would be pulling the ecm out of your machine and installing in another good...
that sounds like a great trip, we are leaving the territories on the 20th, get a day in valemount on the way down. try and get her used to the sled. then do the christmas thing with her family. then whistler 27,28,29. then heading home after new years. would like to get a couple more days in but...
between christmas and new years, got a couple days booked with chris brown. figured it would be a good experience and the girlfriends pretty green when it comes to sledding.
what elevation should one be clutching to ride the whistler and pemberton area. i was planning on running the same set up as i do in valemount cause we are riding there on the way down
.
the farther down the collar is. the more spring preload you have, it raises the ride height and stiffins up the shock some. the opposite happens when you screw the collar up.
did you fix the reason it blew up the first time, or did you just bolt in new parts and hope it wouldn't happen again?
what other info do you have, did it lean out, bad injector, weak fuel pump etc. piston locator pin come out, did your machine have the recall done, lots of information would...
i had the same predicament as most regarding a snowboard rack. i dont board but my girlfriend does. i went back and forth and ended up going with the cfr linq rack. i liked that she could run it on her sled, i could use it on my sled running her up the hill. etc plus we can remove it and strap...
the dealer pays that $500 bucks to skidoo and loses it and all the spring incentives if the spring buyer doesn't pick the machine up within 30 days of delivery.
