Well the 850 engineers apparently have been doing homework: Stronger, re-engineered cranks, Both sleds have had improvements there. Bearings are more heavy duty, more homework. Better lubrication of bearings. A Plus. Updated pistons... and con rod bearings... Another plus.. Sorry to rain on...

Why are some people so hung up on single ring pistons? If dual ring piston's were so much better, they would go that route. There obviously is a good reason they went with just one.
