Not sure if this has been posted, but saw this posted on another site, seems to show some of the accessories that are going to be offered to dealers. Shows a removable snow flap, Remote Coupling, etc. Some neat stuff here.
While I know that it probably doesn't help performance, I do like having a can for the sound. When we were at Frisby earlier this year riding in the caribou closure (before Jan don't get all excited) it was pretty nice to be able to hear if another sled was making a run up towards the ridge from...
42,000 on our 28'. As many have said I wouldn't go any smaller. It can heat the trailer up pretty quick which is nice when coming down a cold trail. Also pretty nice to not have to drag all your gear into the hotel room to dry out. Spend a few dollars extra each night and let it run.
I thought that you were not supposed to use any lithium batteries in beacons? I remember the power curve being extremely flat, meaning you would stay at 90% than all of a sudden they were dead. Alkaline batteries were what was recommended in my avalanche training.

Re: Getting on the "pot" wagon!
I am not sure if you are being serious or just trolling. But what the hell i'm 3 beers deep. Not sure what "TAXS" are but i'll give it a whirl.
I agree that all people selling products should be paying taxes. But in order to pay taxes they have to...
Re: Getting on the "pot" wagon!
It really is amazing to me that you actually get people who believe this. If you honestly believe that the reason our taxes are high is because a few drug dealers are not paying taxes you have something coming to you. They are still paying taxes on any...
I would bet the used SxS market is suffering from the same thing the diesel truck market is. With our canadian dollar being so low, everything is getting picked up immediately and brought down to the states. 30% less leaves a good chunk of change to be made. Hard to find clean lightly used units...
First thing I would do is change the fuel filter and new plugs. Start with the easy things and go from there.... Did your sled get new rave valves from the recall?
I read up on this quite a bit and it seems the best option for aftermarkets seems to be the LT285/55/20. Has the closest rolling diameter to stock and only a tiny bit wider since the sidewall is shorter.
For me being able to fit into parking garages was a huge worry and this solves that problem.
Guys one thing to consider depending if you are using the 12V or the 120V adapter is the cable itself. The 120V connector has multiple plugs available to change the style, in doing this they made a massive weak point. - I had one adapter that would not charge because of the bent electrical...
Few guys in our group have used ENZO and had pretty good success, but they are very expensive. I have used Dave from AE racing in Brooks to rebuild mine and have been extremely happy at a much lower cost. I believe he charges about $125 and set them up for my riding weight etc. Much less fade...
I'm sure you will get good use of it. I was actually debating on permanently mounting one of them in the engine bay of my truck for the winter. Was going to just tie it into the 120V line for the block heater, and will help keep give the batteries a boost and topped off during those cold winter...
Sorry Wild, I was saying that to Big Jon. I should have replied with quote, you replied before my page refreshed haha.
Yeah I have a couple of them now, 1.1A to leave on my camper batteries, 3.5A to move around etc. Ever since I started using them my batteries seem to last much better then...
This is not really correct with todays chargers. A maintainer (such as the battery Tender or the smaller Noco/CTEK Chargers) will not just endlessly supply power to the batteries, they sense the battery loss and will only supply power when needed, thus there is no reason to worry about "Cooking"...
If you are going to look into LED strips, take a read of this thread I wrote a whole bunch of the different types.

The 3528 ones are pretty dim in comparison to some of the newer...
Just saw this gif on another car forum figured it would be a good post for here as it many people are preparing their enclosed trailers for the winter. Balancing the weight of your trailer is critical to sway control, even before separate hitches etc.
Seems as though every year we see smaller...
Hard to say what you would get out of them at the end. I have sold most trucks before I end up wearing them out completely, but I would expect in the 90k range as well.... Again depends on how far you really want to push them though like pfi mentioned.
Toyo AT2's have proven themselves as well...
