Why is it so hard to find a good used side by side? I've been looking for a while now and it seems most people must keep the good side by sides like the rhinos, teryx etc.
Seems to be a ton of rangers always for sale though.
Anyone here thinking of sell theirs?

I sold mine 2 weeks ago, i put it up for sell and it went that same week. The guy told me that he looked at alot of them and most were POS beat up junk that guys were asking premium dollars for. A good nice ATV or SXS from what i hear is hard to find.

Kinda why I ended up buying new, couldn't find anything that really appealed to me in the used market. Picked up a 2014 Yamaha Viking for around 14. It's a good combo between play and work.I took it on a rally this fall, and was really surprised at how well it did, considering its size and its bone stock. Three seats that are nice and comfortable, compared to the other comparable units I found their seats very upright and hard. I'm 6'4 and this was one of, if not the only unit, I fit in comfortabley, so good for big people. A bit on the big side though if you like lots of narrow quad trails. Anyway, good luck in the hunt.

Wouldn't think of getting rid of our ranger. It's too much of a work horse/farm tool for us but yet can still cruise up the mountain for hunting. Maybe one day get a more sporty machine but will have the ranger until she is dead.

I would bet the used SxS market is suffering from the same thing the diesel truck market is. With our canadian dollar being so low, everything is getting picked up immediately and brought down to the states. 30% less leaves a good chunk of change to be made. Hard to find clean lightly used units right now.

Thanks for the tips guys! I don't know anything about arctic cat ( always had polaris quads and skidoo's) but they do seem to be cheaper than the other brands.
I would be using it more for hunting and some work projects in the bush. The thing I don't like about the ranger is the bench seat just looks uncomfortable, although if I could find a low mile 570 ranger I would probably buy it.
The Yamaha wolverine suits my needs but I don't have that kind of money to pick one up..

From what I have seen the 700 cat has been great. We are seeing a few more out each year on the trails

just a fyi, the rzzrs, trail cats, etc you will always be riding in the muck n water, with the rangers, viking, ac utility SxS's you sit above the slop. more of a work machine, different riding altogether. easier in and out, able to move around, carry more than 2 soda pops. you won't win any races, but will be more than capable of getting there. jmo:twocents:

We have a 2014 800 crew and use it all the time. When the kids were still in car seats we just strapped them in and away we went. Its not a jumper or a racer or even much of a mud bogger but if you put a Teflon skid plate on you can go just about anywhere. Quad guys are always surprised the place we make it. It wont do it fast but it will defiantly get you there. If your not a family I would recommend the Ranger XP models, the move along quicker and are defiantly little more comfortable.

Those xp's are really nice but the almost 20,000$ price tag is a lot more then the 570 etc

Shop it around, we bought our 800 in feb of 14 so it was brand new with no rebates. Added the roof and front window and we were out the door for 15ki think. Yes things have changed I know but it defiantly pays to shop it around. What part of the province are you in?

Hi Swat, i'm in the Kamloops area. I've kinda been looking around at different shops in BC and the 570's seem to be going for around 10,900 plus all the bull**** fees of course like freight pdi etc
