Wondering what tire size everyone is running on newer Gm's without lifts or leveling kits, wanna get rid of stockers before the snow flies will a 285/60/r20 fit without rubbing on a 2016 2500hd thanks in advance.
I have a 16 Chevy 3500 SRW, I do have a level kit running 285/60R20. It rubs a little bit, but not nearly as bad as the last body style. I'm also running a slight offset on aftermarket wheels, with stock rims you would probably be fine.
Thanks tried looking on duramax forums but hard to get a straight answer getting old and chitty dont wanna do anything to mess with the ride (no more lifts) my mega cab was pretty easy to get bigger rubber without doing anything and still rides like a tractor.
I read up on this quite a bit and it seems the best option for aftermarkets seems to be the LT285/55/20. Has the closest rolling diameter to stock and only a tiny bit wider since the sidewall is shorter.
For me being able to fit into parking garages was a huge worry and this solves that problem.
