Agreed, the back of Allan was dam good yesterday if you could get back there through the terrible vis and raging winds.
Check out Marshall's teather......just a tad windy :d
The open areas are ridden very hard and yes the wind has also turned much of those into concrete as well. The area does need a reload quite badly and there is not one coming any time soon by the looks of the forecast. That being said, there are some amazing opportunities still left out there...
What about the entire KML or GPX boundary file? VARDA has them on their website. Look at the individual riding area tab and on the right there should be the file to download. Any issues, email info@ridevalemount.com and ask for it
^^^^ love that video.... according to half of the social media trolls thats the "gated trail" LOL. I think there is a linch mob after this poor guy. Looks like a great group of riders making the best of a ****ty situation and helping each other out.
Hopefully now that some grooming has begun...
I love being WRONG. :common001::common001:
This current downpour of rain is probably dropping some intense snow up top. Wish it would cool off a few degrees though....

This type of post is what is causing so many misconceptions. Don't put everyone in the same basket.
Sorry all, gate may be open some time LATE next week as long as the weather stays very cold. The road gets heavily damaged when people try to chew their way in there with trucks. Its still October. I see people are accessing Bell though.

At this time we have one needing other folks on Feb 11th weekend but can easily schedule others if you get a group of 5. We try to do the Ast2s mid season and onward as we would like good snowpack to ride on and travel some major terrain if the conditions allow.
Its great to see people talking about more than the loudest can....:p
If anything this article and the buzz around it will bring to light proper maintenance and use of your transceiver. Slides, switches and electronics can wear out. If you are still using a unit that is 5 years old, it may be...
If you have done an AST 1 and do not feel ready for the 2, you can update your skills with a refresher field day.
Same rate as a guided day, up to four people, and we can work on what ever skills you want throughout the day and crush some pow while we are at it. We operate under a full...
We play in a wicked learning environment. Meaning, the patterns are not often obvious, feedback is delayed or nonexistent, and the rules of the game can be unclear or incomplete. This wicked environment may even reinforce bad behaviours or habits.
We can adapt to this environment, even...
