Compression check done 5 pulls wide open throttle? If not done this way you will get lower readings. Usually sleds don’t run this low on compression let alone transition into reverse.
Sure some small issues when hot on bottom as gargle with the high elevation kit but none the less that will be splitting hairs to be chewing ass about that.
Can you explain more what these small issues are? Meaning low end bog?
What are you running for clutch weights? Thinking you need to throw more weight at it. Thinking it's hitting 8500 rev limit before the gauge is reading it dropping you down in rpms.
Good choice. Look at your pin weight of trailer and a gross vehicle weight rating is. From meddlers post he has around 2000 pounds of gross left to a 2500 series truck. Betting your pin weight is closer to 3000 lbs.
A piece of the belt may have nicked the crank seal behind the primary clutch. Pop the clutch off and have a look. Unfornatley (sp) you will have to split motor to change crank seal as it has a lip and sits in a crank case groove.
The dealer does not have the say whether it be warranty or not. That is a manufactures decision. This also can take a couple of days to decide. Wait and do the warranty process or pay up and continue playing. Your option of course.
