So I have a 8'x16' enclosed I am using for quads and I'm wanting to set it up so I can "camp" overnights and weekends. First thing I was thinking was A/C, wondering if anyone has installed A/C in their trailer and what style and how they went about doing it. Second is beds, wondering if there are bed kits for enclosed trailers or if you just have to build them yourself? Either way is fine with me but I'm just looking for ideas.

I know most people have heaters set up in their trailers but I've never seen someone with A/C. Guess you have to build it for purpose.

I know some of you guys have some awful nice set ups and craftsmanship so I can't wait to hear back. Also, any additional ideas would be welcome. I know it's not the biggest trailer but I still want to make it nice as I can.

I wanted the same. This is what I ended up with. 16' w/5' nose
heater, inverter, charger, solar power, sat dish, led lights, spray foamed floor, linex floor, under mount tanks
i added vents, fantastic fan, alarm, 2x6V glass mat batt, and stereo. 2 jump seats. Lots of air movement
I've seen trailers with awnings.
Love it for all seasons. Extras as a place to stay over night at the lake for visitors

with the way I see enclosed trailers blowing over on highway 22 down by Lundbreck I think for me I would just get a flat deck. Last weekend I saw two semi's blown over and one dodge pulling an enclosed trailer on it's side.

Wow . 3 trailers in the ditch and our not gonna buy one? why not just get a mid deck that sits lower. Seems like a silly reason to not buy one. They are great

Perhaps avoiding towing a trailer through a 120km/hr crosswind is a more sensible alternative!

Very nice Puddle. Where did you get the top and middle cabinets at the V in front? Did you mount them?

obviously he never had to deal with a road grime covered sled before. or he is one of those that would cut his head off if he had a headache.

I have a small Legend, and use it for work and play.

I put in a furnace, wired in LED's, installed e-track at 24" AFF.

For a bed/couch, I was thinking of using 4 e-track verticals, and get the 2x4 cradles. Frame in a platform, sheet it, drop it in, mattress and you are done. Fully adjustable for height..Then flip it over if you don't need a bed and have a shelf with sides to put your bags, supplies and stuff. just down from the ceiling a foot or so. You would still have room to scoot the sleds out, and have storage. you could also have 2 of them and have bunk beds I guess.

1" rigid board insulation, skin walls with puck board, milk board, or aluminum sheeting, white thin puck board is the cheapest and looks like aluminum..Lots of LED lights, RV furnace is the only way to go easy to wire up and run your copper tubing from underbelley tank or vertical tank. Couple 6 volt batteries and a convertor your good to go.. Cabinets and benches/beds can be bought many places but pricey,, I fabbed up all my own stuff just takes time.. Heres a link to my pics https://www.snowandmud.com/tow-vehi...m-77/featherlite-mods-finally-done-22134.html
