First mountain ride was a long time ago.Took my 70 TnT 640 up to Tumbler Ridge in BC. It didn't do too bad with it's 18 inch wide track. Still love sledding in the mountains.
27 years a couple buddies drug me out to Golden to go mountain sledding. I had a 1984 Ski Doo Prostock prototype sno cross sled. I thought I was gonna set the world on fire. Boy was I wrong. I was fast on the trail into Susan Lake but once we hit the powder I was stuck more times than I care to admit. I learned not to park uphill, to make a track to drive into when you wanted to stop and that the throttle was your friend. We went to Packers Place downtown that night and tied one on and needless to say I've been hooked ever since. Funny thing is I've rode in Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan,Montana, Colorado,Idaho Wisconsin, Wyoming and Quebec but I've never been back to Susan Lake.
