Yamaha Phazer ????

Considering the opinions you are referencing on this thread are from 2007, I would get some new opinions before settling on the Phazer. The Nytro wasn't even around when this thread was started, and they can had for cheap.

Stay away from the Phazer if you are even thinking about going off trail in the mountains! I bought one for my son to ride and we took it back after one weekend and got a Nytro MTX. The Phazer is under-powered, tippy, too small of a track for any kind of a slope with more than two feet of snow. No way could it even keep up to our group! VERY happy with the Nytro's we've had. Had three Nytro's which were stock, mild, and wild! All are a blast in there own right so you can improve performance as your budget and skill level grows. Suggest the Phazer only for putting around an acreage... You might save a few hundred now, but kick yourself later... I know I did! Good luck in your search.

Thanks Jim, So would a nytro mtx 153 be ok for my first sled. I have a dirt biking a nd quading back ground so i should pick it up fairly quickly??
