:beer:Hey guys what have you found to be the best place to pick up some stock parts? Need to pick up a XP 800R belt and I'm pretty sure there are cheaper places then at the dealership!

Dollars good, any good US website??

Dealercostparts.com $110.99 is a couple of bucks cheaper than cyclepartsnation.com $118.49 (even though they are the same company?), and on the website it says you need to be a dealer, but I ordered parts from them last week, and no issues. Not sure the reasoning of the 2 sites as the same company?.

Of the few sites I have found like dealercostparts and such I have found that if you purchase a few items you can save a few bucks.

If its a one of item the shipping and sometimes duty ends up being the same in the end. As well if you don't have a great local dealer shop around, not only with sled parts but bike parts and other items a few phone calls usually saves a few bucks.

Best way to save a few bucks is support your local dealer whenever you can. If you purchase a sled from them inquire into part discounts and such.

Here is what I posted on another thread. Shipping is worth it if you are after about $150 or more worth of parts. You also have to be willing to wait a few days to receive the parts, although sometimes the wait for the dealer isn't much better.

Here are the online prices (US Dollars):
Part Number Descripton Price Qty Total
420941430 M6 x 20 Socket Head Screw 1.57 4 6.28
415129409 Updated Belt Deflector 24.78 1 24.78
512060547 Throttle Cable 58.82 1 58.82
860200271 10" Riser 49.19 1 49.19
139.07
Shipping 32.49
Grand Total 171.56

Here are the local prices:
Part Number Descripton Price Qty Total
420941430 M6 x 20 Socket Head Screw 1.99 4 7.96
415129409 Updated Belt Deflector 40.99 1 40.99
512060547 Throttle Cable 97.49 1 97.49
860200271 10" Riser 69.99 1 69.99
216.43

I bought a couple off of ebay, the more you buy the cheaper they are. The two I bought worked out to 125.00 with shipping, if you bought a 5 pack it worked out to 115.00 with shipping, which isn't bad if you and some buddies get together on it. Better than the 188.00 at the dealership.

I got a couple off ebay also. $250.00 for two and then $26.00 duty. Still way cheaper.

Did you have to pay duty?

Always request United States Postal Service for shipping, they don't charge any usually. If the seller sends with UPS or FedEx, etc, these couriers seem to want extra to cross the border, no matter what you are buying.

Mine were shipped via USPS. That $26.00 included GST and PST i think so I guess there probably was no duty. Wife picked them up at post office and I never thought about the taxes.
