I've got an Orange 2014 SP and a Black 2014 X, both bought recently. Hopefully I can answer some of the Performance/Handling questions within the next few weeks....hoping to hit the hills but Xmas party after Xmas party after Xmas party....lol

Orange is a good looking sled, but holy crap, I've been waiting since the beginning of May for a right hand side panel that I ordered for buddy.

There can big price difference if you only look at starting prices.

from BRP website:

Summit X, T3, 800 E-TEC, 154, XM = List starting $14,499-

Summit SP, 600E-TEC, 146x2.5, XM = List starting at $ 11,899-

Summit SPORT, 600 Carb, 146x2.25, XP = List stating at $ 8,849-

But there is large differences in the above sleds!

Also if equipped similar, X vs SP there is only a small difference ($450) as already stated.

I think you're comparing the "x" verses the "sp" ... Yes big difference, and price being the biggest difference. X has better shocks, lighter, 5 more hp, better clutching, premium gauge package, better front end steering, better skis..... Etc

Huh? Only difference is the bars and shocks.
