Just talking to 6 or 7 long time Doo riders, to a man they are all saying WTF, why would I want to spend more money on a sled that is really just yesterdays news , but a little narrower....when I can buy Cat or a Poo that both chock full of new technology and design and are leading the way in the sledding industry. Makes no sense, even the Doo guys are saying......we got more HP.....so why ain't we dominating. Duh, yesterdays clutching, testerdays skid, yesterdays riding position, yesterdays weight transfer. But.......relax fellas, they're nice on the trail, and with another 3 grand or so for a BB, you MIGHT dominate, if you add good race gas and it doesn'y scuff off the nicasil, again. LOL

i cant beleive this is happening.

if you honestly think the pro rmk chassis or the new cat chassis is ahead of the doo chassis in any way you are delusional. on par....maybe. again only took a few years to catch up.

what technology exactly does the pro rmk chassis and the cat chassis have thats better than the xp chassis from 4 years ago? nothing. besides a little glue.

i didnt want to bite on this thread. but i had to!

your absolutely out of your mind lenny!

the pro is a nice sled but there is no way its "laying the smackdown" on a doo. it might come close. thats it. same with the new m8. if you think those 15 wide jokes of track designs are going to get you to the same mark on the hill as the doo your smokin it! alot of it!

Torque link, adjustable steering post, WAY better clutching, A-arm goemetry, ease and cost of replacing parts after a tree encounter!....just a few things Cat has up on Doo. And if anybody thinks a 1" wider track makes any significant difference in climbing.....they are delusional! Trust me...I have owned skidoo for the last 12 years. HAHA

Yeah, gotta love those a arms. Chance of hitting a tree branch with them is better than the stump. You use a step ladder to service them?

No, but when I do hit a tree...I am just replacing an a-arm. With my doo, it was a-arm, s-module, e-module, and cross brace. So roughly $1500.
Can buy a brand new step ladder and an a-arm for about $200. HaHA

Sounds about right on the price. Both items are made out of the same metal.

Fixed it for ya.

Different thread, same 6 Doo guys with the same Doo comments, like a bunch of broken records. You just need Ferniesnow, T-team and Underdog and you got the BRP hockey team :) Keep hanging on to the same 3 things that Doo has done well, everyone one else is advancing. Polaris was named Mountain Sled of the Year last year for a reason......Arctic Cat has a factory turbo and Yammy has both supercharged and turbo offerings. Doo hasn't even put a 4 stroke in a mountain chassis yet............well i guess they did finally put a fuel injection system on their 800.....5 yrs late.

I'm the goalie. Its my job to stop all the shots, even the cheap ones. Lol. Polaris mountain sled of year.....depends on what magazine you read I guess. Don't even go there with Yammy, now Cat that is a different story. Doo and no 4 stroke mountain sled? Didn't you get the memo? We are dooing it lighter and cleaner. Fuel injection late? You are not even thinking of comparing the etec to cleanfire. Cmon modman, take a slapshot. Your wrist shot is pretty feeble. Were all just having some fun here. If you don't like it go hang around on the 3 word story thread. Nothing much in the way of controversy going on over there.
