Did did they decide to go with a 174-175" track? Sure like the supercharger idea.. What's it hp and weight to sled..

Track options are 154” or 165” x 15” x 3.5” Pitch on 7T Driver’s

Claimed HP is 210 on Pump with the Charger and weight of the charger would be a wash from stock after removing the stock pipe and stock Can. Sled is approx 15lbs weight reduction on the Alpha dry weight should weigh in at approx 430lbs there will be some 3rd party tests coming out in the very near future of the actual wet weight in the snow this sled holds virtually zero snow in the skid which makes a HUGE difference in comparison to the competitors who run coolers in the tunnel.

Also would like to add that this design has been vigorously tested on the snow since 2013, the same engineer who developed the M chassis sleds invented this design, it was his next project after completing the m series. The key components here are the twin hyfax on the bottom of the A frame rail, and how the track is clipped making it next to impossible to jump as it slides on either side of the hyfax depending which side the sled is leaning on the rail. Everyone’s misconception of how this design works really needs to understand that although we are calling it a single rail it is in fact a two slide rail system on the bottom of the single rail. the rail itself is 6 times stronger then a conventional rail, with 10” big wheels on the back and the 3.5” pitch drivers which are actually larger then the 8t drivers the rolling resistance is going to be like putting a belt drive on, better yet pair it with a belt drive and you really have a weapon here. I think this is a homerun. Think what you want I know what I’ll be on this year

I had a good look at it over the last 3 days. Also talked with the riders testing it.

Ride the sled and see yourself.

I want one.
Maybe if I sell my 09 CF 1000 the wife will let me.
Normally I wait until all the bugs are worker out.
For some reason I can't wait on this. I really want one.

I've seen some of the places you ride. It would be a perfect fit for you.

This is going to be another future trend setter from A/C. One thing over the years i have learnt from Cat, they are not a gadget maker, unlike another sled maker in this sport.

In the 70's, first to introduce slide rail suspension, while the others were stuck on bogies wheels.
In the 80's, first to introduce A-arm suspension's, while the other's were stuck on trailing arms.
In the 90's, first to introduce big bore 700 and 800 twins, while others were stuck on triples.
in the 2000, first to introduce battery less fuel injection, while other were stuck on carbs.

You won't find gadget innovations on Cat's very often, you will find the new trend though as history shows and not with gadgets but in the performance realm. When Cat come out with something new, the others will notice and eventually fallow in time.
You like and want unproven gadget, go see that other builder, they have a rep. for innovations ....

Personally, i'ed buy one with out a worry, first year thing is a Doo thing.

New Cat is basically in a rev chassis. Skidoo has had many innovations the others have adopted.

Like rave valves, electronic reverse, direct injection ext.

will the monorail be the future? Maybe.

It looks like Cats answer to the t-motion, but that has been in production for 6 years already....

These new cats are looking sweet, but up until 18 they weren't looking so good.

Maybe textron will keep there sleds moving in the right direction.

Yes i completely agree and so has Polaris. The point was Cat doesn't come out with something every year. But when they do, it set a trend to where we are going.

Looks like Cat is due for innovation once every decade. Just a smidge behind everyone else it seems?
