Looks like there trip is slightly delayed by 2 hours.. Just a little warm up for the amount of shoveling there going to have to do with the HCR tagging along.

Nah, they just need to get a real truck to pull that trailer..LOL..LOL.. Actually the HCR doesn't work as well as the sno pro or standard M8's in this deep fluffy powder due to it having abit stiffer track, it tends to trench with the stiff track in the deep powder.

Well guys as you all know Ric is a huge doo fan but for this weekend he will be sporting a new ride(2011 hcr) which were letting him ride for the weekend. So the question is will Summitric be buying a cat?

Two completly different machines but once you get the feel for her youll hopefully snot bag the shite out her, push it likes it your last day to live,and treat it like the owners bagging your wife, unfortuantly it will still bring you back to the truck, waiting for day 2,3,4,etc got to love dependibility.

i think he might love it.. the cat chassie is 10000000 times better then the old rev style and the 1000 to boot isnt i found all that nice to through around.

the track wasn't bad.... Probably 162" better for the huge powder we were in for my size. But the fingers on the hcr are solid, whereas the m seemed to work a lot better in the pow. The wider ski stance on the hcr was much more difficult in the pow than the m as well. The hcr would make an incredible ditchbanger, or awesome machine in more packed, probably even spring condition snow. But i'm not complaining about the hcr, as i did some great drift action and some nice air, and it got me around in the powder quite nicely, however not being used to the sled, i did get stuck a few times..... Once or twice not my fault due to the huge snow and big jumps and landing flat in the powder... The suspension seemed a little stiff on the trail down, but it was unpleasant for everyone in our group as the trail down was pounded out pretty good. Personally after driving the m and the hcr, my personal preference would lean to the m8.....but that's just me. Power was adequate, and not quite the arm hurting torque the 1000rt doo dishes out, but it did admirably, i must admit. We did run into the problem that apparently most m8's experience and that is the fresh air intake hose collapsing.... Thought i lost a cylinder or spark plug, but turned out to be the hose collapsed and starved for air...... Why didn't they put a coil inside the hose like dryer vent hoses??? I love the huge underseat storage on the sleds, and the adjustable height handlebars, however i still need about an extra 6" or more handlebar height..... But then again, that's just me, sayin'. I will post more about them and post a few pics soon too...... All in all a great sled, the hcr was.
