the cat 700 s are overachievers in the power department that is with out a doubt but have had carry overs prior to the economy faltering. You get what you pay for it comes with very poor tires and has poor brakes. If you can find one for a good deal go to the 900 poo. They can be had with 50,55 and 60 inch widths have more power and better standard equipment. Try Motion motorsports for good all around deal and advise.

We'll, I'll pulled the trigger on a 2016 yami wolverine r-spec camo. It's a demo, low km's, came with winch. I'm thinking on adding the following, 28" zilla tires, half windshield, 2" highlifter lift, and, of course, snorkels.

does that have less hp than the 700 cat. I believe it does

Yup, I think the new 700 cats are 63 hp and the wolverine is around the 50 plus hp range. It's a torquey motor.

Zillas are a size small so really 27" and they're decently light.
I run 28" zillas on my Trail since new, clutch kit now since I have a few things done. Never really felt the I "needed" a clutch kit when it was stock with 28" tires. I'd try it first myself before buying a clutch kit.
I'm religious about operating in low, absolutely key to belts life IMO as pretty much every belt failure I've seen is probably due to being in high when they should have been in low.

For 60 + hp they really get out and move...!
