How are all these fires starting? There hasn’t been any lightning so are these human started fires? I’ve seen a fair amount of ditch fires off the side of highways and cannot believe the amount of people I still see throwing there butts out the window. I do see the issue with the OHV ban, with skeg building up in off highway vehicle exhaust and becoming a source, hence they temporarily banned the use of Ohv’s in the north.

Pretty dark outside, it’s 1:30 and it looks like dusk. Lights are on where it’s bright enough from the sunlight to see clearly inside. And I’m only in parkland county
Been reading on facebook that the East Prairie Metis Settlement intends to go ahead with their ATV rally tomorrow even though they are right in the heart of the OHV bans, they feel its wet enough and won't have an issue. I wish there was a way we could get the authorities involved in this but they fall under federal jurisdiction and are exempt to the ban......... really pisses me off though that all these areas are on fire, and one of their own settlements got hit by fire last night but are still planning to go forth.....
Maybe this is just a personal rant, but it truly does bother me.
THE EPMS JUNE 1, 2019 RALLY IS POSTPONED DUE TO EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS AND EVACUATION NOTICES IN THE AREA. OUR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH THOSE ON EVACUATION NOTICE OR WHO HAVE BEEN EVACUATED!!
Looks like someone reasoned with them: One hour ago...
