Whenever I get a better than average product or service I like to tell the world...same is true if I get something I'm not happy with
I bent the steering post on my 2001 RMK and was refered to CC Machines who is also know as "Wild Child" to get a replacement. He custom manufactures the height you require.
Kurt was true to his word and supplied the custom product on time and it looks awesome. To test this new stronger steering post I, by accident, ended up up-side-down in the trees this past weekend in McBride (a photo will soon appear). All the weight was on the bars. No sign of movement at all.
Price: Was less than OEM
Delivery: On time as promised
Quality: Awesome
Service: Better than expected, Kurt e-mailed me many times
Recomendation: Yes, for sure, very happy with the product.

Same comments as SBR - WildChild's posts are top shelf. Even if they were double the cost of OEM it is still worth it not to have to rope up your bars to the skis directly and drive 15 kms out of the forest (been there done that TWICE before I got my WildChild post).

Anything built by Wildchild is a good product.
The real bonus is his customer service...always top notch.

See post #4. I've used Kurts parts lots, always top notch better than OEM. He can build the post for yoru 99 RMK longer than stock too, I think I had mine 3" longer than stock.
