I was thinking of hauling my camper and stuff down for the Jamboree and was wondering who's heading down from Calgary and who's staying where. Camping is cool but the downside is having to pack up to drive to the staging areas to unload the sleds.

Lemme know who's going and maybe we can hook up for a ride or a beer while down there!

hopefully snow conditions improve enough that you could stay at crowsnest mountain resort and just go up the ditch

I called that resort last month and they stated they didn't have onsite parking available for RV's or anything with power. I checked the another site and they have spots with power available so that might be the ticket. I'll just have to roll with the truck and camper to get to Atlas or wherever else early in the AM to snag some room.

Smithy: I'm checking into the out-laws watching the kids for us that weekend. If that works I'll be heading down with my wife, if not I'll be heading down solo and likely camping all the same.

Graeme I can unload the kid's sleds and pick yours up in Calgary if you want. Give you a lift out to the staging area so you don't have to pack up the camper for the short drive. Let me know.

That's a very kind offer Randy, and I thank you. :)

Not sure where I'm gonna stage from yet and might even try and snag a spot in Atlas. I'll be sure to figure things out after the weekend and will give you a ring. Right now I'm just hoping for some more snow before I book. If this ends up like an El Nino type spring...I'll scream.

This weekend I'm gonna get out for a ride on the old Harley since the roads are dry. Then I'll come home and do another snow dance!

OK...looks like it's official now. The in laws are watching the kids for us and the wife (Top Fuel) and I are both heading down for the Jamboree. I'll be loading up the new camper and dragging both sleds down for the weekend. Yeehaw!
